"Acro Yoga" is a form of partner acrobatics that is usually based around the L-Base position and includes a variety of Yoga asana inspired positions, and 'washing machine' flows. It generally leaves by the spiritual practice of Hatha yoga practices, and is essentially an appropriation of the term as it has no significant connection to the form.

In addition to "Acro Yoga", I teach Beginner Parnter Acrobatics, which includes various standing and other creative partner acrobatics. For internmediate and advanced acrobatics I can recommend other higher level partner acrobats in the area.

Lessons are usually taught in West Asheville, but other locations may be possible, though travel time may be a factor.

I generally teaches partner dance fundamentals based on principles that apply across forms with an emphasis on connnection.

I am familiar with East and West Coast Swing. Lindy Hop (swing), Blues, Tango, Waltz, Zouk, and have some familiarity with latin and ballroom styles, but generally teach a fusion style.

I encourage students to learn both lead and follow and can teach switch dancing as well. All genders, individual, pairs or small groups.
